Preseason scrimmages:

The 2009 All-Alaska Football Camp (at Colony HS) has invited us to participate with their scrimmage sessions. The dates and times for scrimmages are Monday June 22nd, (7:30-9 pm) Tuesday June 23rd (7:30-9 pm) and Wednesday June 24th (11 am – 1 pm). I will send out more information and details as we get closer to these days.

New AFOA Board Members: The elections for board members was complete in October, and we have the following board for the 2009 Season:

Congratulations to our new President Jay Drewry and our new member at large Alvin Aramburo! 

President, World Class Official, Packer-backer, and somewhat decent guy Jack Renn has decided to no seek an unprecedented eighth term as president of AFOA.  Jack will remain on the board in the 'Past-President' role.  Jack will be greatly missed.

Off Season: Please let Justin know if you know of any referee clinics or classes around the country, and I will have that posted on the site.

FORUM: The Forum is back!

AFOA 2009 Meetings: Association meetings will be held at the same First National Bank building (a map is located on the 'Maps to Fields' page). See the 'Clinics and Meetings' page for details.

Board: Please, if you have any issues you'd like to bring to the board's attention, go to the contact info page and e-mail or call a board member! The board does meet in the off-season.

Website: If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let Justin know. The site will be updated from time to time in the off-season.
